PROGRAMS & SERVICES
Education – offers classes through out the Pacific Northwest in basic and advanced faith community nurse/health ministry studies approved by the International Parish Nurse Center and sponsors leadership training for caregiver classes.
Consultation / Support – responds to individual, congregational and organizational requests for assistance in establishing and sustaining a health ministry program.
Conference / Retreats – hosts a conference every other year, participates in regional retreats on alternate years, and hosts coordinator retreats during the year.
Resource Center – Provides information and links to resources and best practices relating to health ministry, in addition to interactive forums.

Educational Workshop for Faith Community Professionals Ministering to Those Making End-of-Life Health Care Decisions June 23, 2012 8:30am - 2:30pm
First Presbyterian Church 227 NE 12th Street Newport, OR 97365 This workshop is designed to increase the confidence and competence of participants in meeting the needs of people who are dealing with the challenge of making end-of-life health care decisions, whether for themselves or loved ones. Participants will learn about the importance of both documentation and discussion in creating an end-of-life plan, and delve into the specifics of ministering to people struggling with decision-making at the close of life.
